Hello hello hello!
I decided to use the posts feature as updates from the studio with photos and notes, what is upcoming, dates, and also what I am seeing, reading, listening to. I thought a lot about what to write as an artist, I am mostly in the studio working on my art projects and I don’t think I am a good writer but I can share when I can find time what I am reading something, looking at stuff and listening to music that I discovered.
Lately finally after working on them for three months, I finished drawing my pieces on paper stretched on wood panels.
There are 10 pieces in total, and they will be exhibited at upcoming Art on Paper fair in New York at Pier 36 this September. I will be sharing more info when the date is closer. Here are some close up photos, I am going to share the whole pieces when it is time.

This year I am planning on releasing limited edition prints from one of my abstract works and also one from my illustrations. I am still trying to create time for these. I also have to create some time to put some old work on paper for sale on my website as I need more space in the studio. Well I am such a lazy person when it comes to stuff other than creating. That’s why it took me a while to start a blog post about my studio days.
Right now I have only this piece as limited edition print on sale at Black Dragon Press/ Binary limited edition of 75, 17" x 24" Fine art Giclée with screenprinted silver accents, 300 gsm cotton paper, hand numbered and signed by me.
Other two original drawings are still on sale at Uprise Art Gallery/ Here two drawings on paper one is 16.5 x 11.7 in. the other one is 14x11 in.
What I am inspired from lately and enjoying looking at:

Especially I love looking at Kimono color combinations and all the beautiful patterns on them, the shapes of every little detail. They also inspire my work a lot. Not to mention David Milne’s beautiful watercolors, his style is so different than what I know as watercolor works. Phyllida Barlow’s abstract drawings are my latest find. So this time I am sharing these books with you. Let me know what are your favorite finds lately.

And lastly what I caught my eye on substack lately, here is a list:
The Unreal Details of Mind-Bending Paintings by James Lucas
Taste Is the New Intelligence by Stepfanie Tyler
A conversation with artist and organizer Kat Ryals by Young Space
Art as A Necessity: Rethinking the Fundamentals of Human Survival by The Art Districts
What I am listening to: Can I present you The Best of Bill Evans?
Leave a comment or like my post if you enjoyed reading, I need some motivation to keep writing blog posts : )
See you! …
I love seeing all of this, especially the beautiful books and those lovely grasshoppers- the lines make it seem as if they’re really spring-loaded and ready to leap! Thanks for sharing!
